Wanted a brand new AC compressor for my 1996 Chevy plus labor. The manager came out and really tried to work it on me. Quoted me $2500. I just laughed said thanks but no thanks took it to another mechanic 2 miles away they quoted me the part brand new $900 and $200 labor total of $1100 plus tax yeah Scottsdale car care is a total rip off avoid it all costs really a shame because I just moved to Scottsdale and my wife and I plan on staying here and we plan on buying a lot more nice cars and they could’ve had a customer for life.

Adam and team are real pros. I have 3 daughters + wife so it seems like I’m there every month. This last time, we dropped my daughter’s car off before the holiday weekend and picked it up 5 days later. Easy. Always courteous, reasonable and knowledgeable. They’ll tell you what must be done vs needs to be done eventually. Great communication with updates and they’ll even pick you up or drop you off. Nice having a convenient auto shop you can trust.

2010 Jeep Wrangler 2 door “Love this place! The staff at Scottsdale Car Care and Speed Shop are super friendly and knowledgeable. I had the front and rear brake rotors replaced, and they also caught the rear axle seal issue I already knew about — no surprises from these guys. Honest service and great communication throughout the process!”

Great place to have your car serviced. The manager was very personable and the prices were reasonable. I dropped the car off at noon, got a quote by 2PM and had it back by 5PM with new breaks, resurfaced rotors and a few other things. Amazing service. I trust them to get the job done right. Thanks RAMIRO!

I have a LS swapped Land Rover that needed tuning, all plugged in and drivable just lacking power, they mechanic that did the swap told me off the bat he can install it but can’t tune it, so I called these guys and they said they can tune it and get it going. The guys there were really cool but would never call to give me updates on it, I’d have to call every time and more or less they never would really get to it, so then the shop tells me they can’t tune it and if I bought a 4L60(GM transmission) it would be a lot easier and they could get it going. So I go out and buy the transmission and deliver it to them. Months and months pass and no one would call me on the truck, they the tech that was working on it left, then the other guy working on it was always busy on something else and never had time for it. So eventually my Rover spends a year at the shop and I had to call them again and essentially they just say “we give up on it come get it” so I get there to pick it up or tow it more or less cause not it can’t drive. I got told they mounted the transmission but just couldn’t finish it for whatever reason. I go into the garage and it’s tucked away in the shop with a bunch of clutt
